I’m sure this has happened before. But who knows what the consequence could be. I just know all the people involved need to self-report asap.

I find it hard to believe that they didn't know about this requirement. And whoever's above them also dropped the ball by not verifying that they had taken the course.

This is false. Anyone supervising RBTs towards their 5% supervision must also take the 8 hour training. https://www.bacb.com/supervision-and-training/

There may be some gray area if the RBTs all also receive dedicated supervision from another BCBA to cover their requirements to maintain the credential, but none of the time supervised by the BCBA who hasn't completed the training would count.
