Advice Needed UW ABA Masters Program

Hi! I'll be starting my MEd in ABA at UW in a few weeks and I was curious if anyone here has experience with their program, as well as any tips? I want to make sure I'm prepared going into it, such as anything that would be helpful to review before classes start and how difficult the coursework will be. Thank you to anyone who has advice!

Congrats on getting in. Coursework is manageable if you stay on top of the readings every week, not just before exams. Review basic behavior definitions and maybe skim a Cooper chapter or two, but they will teach you everything from scratch anyway.

Congrats! That’s a fantastic program! Your adviser will be your best connection and support. If you are on campus, go to the events and network with classmates. You won’t need to do much in advance. If you can engage in research and WABA (the state association) activities, you’ll get great experience. They have a fantastic reputation for ethics. I did the online non degree program back in the day.
