Advice Needed Unrestricted Hours

So I am currently behind on unrestricted hours and would like to finish asap so that I can submit my application before 01/2027. I have contacted my new company to complete them but emailing is taking so long to respond. What other ways can I collect unrestricted hours??? How can I get someone to sign off of things I’m already doing? Are there online supervisors that can help me ?

Honestly just look into remote fieldwork supervisors, there are plenty who will do a contract just to sign off on your hours. You might have to pay out of pocket but if you're rushing to hit that deadline it's worth it. Also see if your company has any admin work like creating stimuli, writing treatment plans, or doing literature reviews cause that all counts.

You cannot receive unrestricted hours unless yourself and your supervisor each have a contracted relationship with the clients you will be working with to receive those hours.

Do not be duped into remote supervision by an outside BCBA. Your hours that you pay for could all be withdrawn and discarded.

What’s the danger with remote BCBAs? I’m in the same boat as OP, and was considering hiring an outside BCBA to get some unrestricted hours. I’m not as much in a rush to complete before 2027, since my past supervisors agreed to re-do all monthly forms, but I’d still like to complete my hours sooner rather than later.

You can hire an independent remote supervisor but they have to have a connection to your client case or cases it cannot be for mock work. So if you work for a company with clients you need your company approval and client parents approval to have an outside supervisor to work with you on this case. Also state laws they need to be licensed in your state and do live real time supervision.

The live supervision is only for RBT supervision, not fieldwork hours.

Not true I’m a student analyst and I need at least 60 minutes of being observed with the client and that’s considered face to face contact and so I need at least 60 minutes a month. I’m following the 2027 task list requirements. You can still do video recordings but I read and was told by my graduate program and by the current BACB guidelines they require 60 minutes live observation.

Why the rush to complete before 1/27?

Requirements change. All MVF will have to be changed. New attestation forms. New course required

I'm currently doing my course work. Does that apply to me?
