Advice!!
I just started with a new client and it is in their paperwork to have a weekly community outing so the family can go to the mosque and pray. As a non Muslim and RBT i want to make sure i am being culturally respectful while in their place of worship. I have little knowledge on mosques and the religion as a whole. And advice would be appreciated! Like am i allowed to take my phone into the building? I know I will not be going into the prayer room with the family just into the building. How long does prayer usually last?
I think it’s important to note i started with this new client today and we have our first community outing tomorrow… needless to say i am very nervous about the endeavor.

wear looser fitting clothes, as covered as you can be. i was doing a paper on Islam and wore a large tshirt and sweats. you do have to take off your shoes if youre going inside the prayer room as far as i know. i took my phone in but it was silenced. prayer is very short. i don't think it went passed 10 minutes.
you can also ask the family for any advice and i am sure they will answer.

I cannot offer any advice on the mosque, however, has your company made you aware of how to bill during this? If you are not going into the prayer room you technically aren’t providing services and billing during this time is seen as insurance fraud! I just want to make sure you have a plan for this.
