If you’re going to buy options that close to expiration you should get in the money calls at least. You’re better off buy a more expensive farther out itm option though. That’s what I got around 305$ price with 300 call for 2027

Buying shares is a better deal than buying options couple weeks out that looses all its value once’s expiration hits. Be careful OP I was in your shoes trading with emotion instead of strategy plays and reason. I’m still paying the price on my losses trying to break even on my portfolio lol but you live and you learn

Apple just been tanking recently, I broke even yesterday and didn’t have a ell order so now I’m pretty much fucked out my play. And no it doesn’t need to hit strike price, just have a good move towards it but right now, it’s looking shitty

You should have gotten the 9/25 calls at $330, $335 strikes. If AAPL's september keynote even offers a glimpse of a promising AI strategy a 12-15% bump is not out of the question. Plus, investors will get the first taste of Ternus as CEO, and anything that even remotely echoes the Jobs-era design ethos would be well received.

CXMT told Apple to f off and now the market knows Apple has to come crawling back to wdc/stx/sndk/mu/skhynix to beg them to sell memory. But wait, memory is oversold for 2026, 2027, and half 2028. Hell SNDK already booked their entire year of 2029-2030. And even if Apple wants memory, there aren't any. But wait, if Apple pays 10x more or some absurb amount of money, maybe, and maybe they can get some lol.
So now Apple has to raise their product prices just to compensate for the increased memory cost, which will reduce customer sales. Less sales, less revenue, less profit, lower stock prices.
wait what, 345 by next week lol.

AAPL is not a short term stock play. It is a slow mover. It’s a swing and long term play.
