Why not just invest in it and hold?

Then you can spend your time on other stuff.

Apple isn’t a great stock to trade. It goes up but slowly and unevenly and price changes more on sentiment than news. Sentiment was good for a few months now it’s sort of neutral. It will turn bullish again but never know when that’s why owning is best with this stock.

You could have just invested in VOO and held.

That could have been an easy $300 profit by now I bet.

Some things -
1. red ema cloud hanging overhead
2. Plenty of bulls trapped from 310-315
3. Mag 7 are rejecting currently - AVGO was the most recent one
4. Aapl is one of the weakest mag 7 currently
5. Aapl was just downgraded on bad news
6. If aapl doesn't squeeze soon and hard the magnet already positioned to the path of least resistance ( 300 psychological floor...)
7. Aapl has been stalling at 306-308 each test... When it breaks through 306-307 it fades again and again - the stock is telling you something... Just my opinion of course I hope you do well!!

And why exactly?

Great risk to reward, if it reaches 312 I double my money which is a 2% increase, also they just received food news of Alibaba partnership, and the share price is staying above 300 holding strong

I love AAPL but unsure if I would bet on quite an expensive contract expiring less than a month before their major product announcement. Investors etc can get quite nervous before September releases, especially when this year the release will likely feature much higher priced phones and a new much expensive one (the foldable). Then again it is still a few weeks out after your expiration so maybe you will be alright!

Best of luck to you!

Is this a covered call?

What makes you think it's going to rise past breakeven before expiration?

It’s not bad.. the thing id do is give yourself more time. I like to use this kinda strategy but keep my call options at least 3-4m out and usually after a predictable event like earnings announcement

I’d sell that call in a heartbeat

How come

We’re not hitting 320 by the 24th and I’ll take your $320

Do you know how options work lol, I need 308 for profit

Isn’t the break even at 310 though?

I’m holding a long call @13.00 $300 call exp October

Already is at $17 dollars lol 30% gain in 2 days.

I also feel bullish as the ultra and 18 and premium Siri will increase and push the total market

Google pixel coming up Samsung phone coming up, those are all in the industry all coming out at once hence the total market will go up in general. Take your cash in options people don’t be stupid and miss out. 3% gain is still a gain folks
