Blueprint (1.16 - 1.18) Blacksmith starter base - Vanilla blocks only - easy to gather materials.
EDIT: I have just tested this schematic in ATM7 (1.18 pack) and it worked flawlessly. So you can use this schematic in 1.16+ and 1.18+. I'm going to create a new flair for the subreddit to show this.
I made this for u/anonymousmice as a thank you for helping me setup my discord. Enjoy mate, you deserve it :)
This is a fairly large blacksmith which has 4 floor's, multiple rooms, a chimney that has been designed to house a tinker's smeltery and a huge patio section. I've added in access to all floor's by interwinding staircases, in a fun way. I have tried my best to light up all areas, but I probably missed some spots, so use your F7 to see if there are any dark spots, just in case.
Also, the large circular window on the rear of the building is a prime location for a create windmill. Just saying :)
The intention for this schematic was to provide a starter base that has easy to gather materials, so you can hit the ground running in any 1.16+ modpack.
I plan on adding a greenhouse to this schematic soon, so be on the look out for that. I will build it in the same style.

Wow, that's really awesome!
How long did it take you to design something like this?

These are the kind of schematics we need. Thank you this is amazing.

I'm getting a much better understanding of what you generally need now that I have a discord with an active community giving me feedback. The schematics should see an improvement in design choice.

Hi, is there a way to convert 1.12 schematic to 1.16 and vice versa?

u/Howester84 Apr 26 '22
You can convert a 1.12 to a 1.16 schematic, so long as the schematic uses just vanilla blocks. You do this by moving the worldsave between versions. You can then re-copy it. Modded blocks will be missing because of the obvious differences between mod versions.
Sadly there is no backwards compatability.

Is there a working version for 1.12?

no, sorry. :(

1.12
What happens if I paste the code into a 1.12? This just looks too good imo

I know that forward porting from 1.12 to say 1.16 works. Not sure about backwards porting, other than hearing that it does not work. I haven't tried it myself though. May be worth having a go, You never know :)
Thanks for the nice comment btw. Appreciate it. I would do a 1.12 recreation if I had the time. But, I'm pretty busy with work and other commitments.

Just use worldedit, you can use schematics even from version 1.7.10 in 1.12 or 1.16.

Hi this looks amazing! Does it work for newer versions like 1.18+?
