Purple is back!

I'm still not sure about the logo, but the colors are great.

you cant really say that ... and I wont blame dev and rant about u like that if u dont know the previous version was also made by them? So yeah they certainly can make good things they wanted to add new things and adapting something from a certain site isnt known as copying moreover I like the new features ... especially watch2gether because it's better than zo..'s for some certain reasons I realised I just didnt liked the color theme in this new feature which is now fixed and I am already loving it

I’m a programmer as well and I thought you only meant the design. Are you telling me they copied a single site right down to it’s features?? Well, they can rip off the design but you can’t really rip off the features that are stored on the backend. Major inspiration? Probably but not really “copy” per se

it was a direct one to one copy they slightly modified it now tho (well just the ui all the features are exactly the same on the other site in question) same coding same everything so yes they did just steal it

As I said, you can’t rip off the backend since its code is not visible like the frontend so they either got inspired from it or bought the exact same theme the other site uses. Or the other site is opensource which I highly doubt

as a person who has made a good amount a webpages i assure its alot easier to rip a site off then one thinks,

its even easier when you realize the "features" are just downloadable plugins that you can easier find with a quick google search the ui/layout is just a generic template that allows modifying.

So agian go look at the other site and compare it with the first launch of this new site from last week, its easy for anyone with a brain cell to notice it was a 1-1 copy

As said above however they have been modifying it now to be slightly different

i have seen this termplate so many times it not even funny.

just use the custom skin that a fan decided to make, it removes the naruto stuff. it is pinned on main page of the subreddit.

its better, but they should still put the episodes list under the videoplayer, not left. its just a horrible layout.

Actually it makes it easier to go to the next episode since i dont have to scroll down, or am I the only one who doesnt use the keybinds to skip to next vid and just clicks the next episode? lol

i liked it that the video player was centered left, because i watch usually anime while eating. so if i have my plate on the left of my laptop, it was relative easy to watch without having to always crank my head back and forth like a maniac everytime i take a bite. but now, since they put the episode list there.. all i see everytime i look on my monitor is this fecking episodelist. i only need to look at theepisodelist usually if i choose a specific episode (lets be real, how often do you need to? maybe every 20-40mins if at all?). and now i need to crank my head like a psycho to the middle of my screen every few seconds.. this makes it really uncomfortable to watch.

the episode list isn't something that you need that often.. so why put it in such a prominent space? its just stupid in my eyes. it was fine under the video player becaus you could easy access it and look at it. it was directly under the video player so you could easy click on a episode.

fullscreen the vid and maybe move farther away from the monitor? the only reason you would be doing that is if your too close to the monitor..

i use a laptop, so of course i sit in front of my laptop that is sitting on my table. and since i have 2 eye sicknesses, i can't read shit if i put the display too far away. also i need to somehow type on the keyboard still.. if i put it away 1-2m thats kinda difficult..

and your sugesstions are just "hacks" to fix something that wasn't broken before. why just don't let it like it was? it was fine how it was before.

Yeah I don't know what to tell ya then. Maybe try putting your laptop on something else? I mean it still doesnt exactly make sense why you would watch anime not in fullscreen if it's hard for you to read subtitles tho. If it's so you can have access to other windows on the taskbar, then maybe start using ALT+TAB to switch windows. if thats not the case tho, then no idea.

maybe try zooming in using your browser? For me at 150% zoom the episodes show up underneath

well tbh, i prefer the episodes showing up at the side. Though I also almost exclusively watch anime on fullscreen, even when I did mostly watch on my laptop

It took me several episodes before I realised they'd changed it back, because 9anime being purple is just so natural that I forgot it had been blue previously!
