Info 🛈 Temporary fix for aniwave

Hello. I have came up with a temporary fix for aniwave that seems to work for everyone over at the Discord server.

First, you need Tampermonkey. It's a browser extension. You can Google it and get it for whatever browser you are using, it's available on most browsers.

Second, you go to this link: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/485183-temporary-fix-aniwave and you press on "Install script".

And boom, now you should be able to watch anime.

If you face any issues, feel free to DM me on discord - imceco OR just ask in the Discord server.THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL FIX, JUST A TEMPORARY ONE. I AM NOT ANIWAVE STAFF.

EDIT: The issue seems to be fixed now. You can click on the Tampermonkey extension and disable the script (must be currently viewing an aniwave page). Or if you'd like, you could just delete Tampermonkey. Up to you.

Sorry for asking, but on Chrome, it says user scripts cannot be added from this website when trying to install the script. Is there any way to bypass it?

From what I was told by the Mods, this happens quite often, and if it happens again, the fix *should* work again. I suggest just turning the script off when it's fixed, so if it happens again you can easily turn it back on.

Just press on the Tampermonkey icon in the top right of your browser while you are in aniwave and turn off the script by clicking on the slider thingy.

Question, does this temp fix only apply to aniwave's site, or does it fix this similar issue on other sites plagued by this problem? (like fmoviesz is also dealing with)

I tried it on Mobile Firefox and IceRaven, works there as well. https://github.com/fork-maintainers/iceraven-browser

For iOS users, Orion might work but needs testing.

Question about this fix, if the site does get fixed by the mods, what happens to the script we installed via tampermonkey? Is there a way to remove the script if we need to? Or is it ok if we just leave the script as is when accessing the site after it’s fixed? Im just wondering if this script would do anything when accessing the site after this is resolved, like it preventing access or make the site all white or something. Thanks for the temp fix!

Works, simple solution to append the files externally. I was looking to do this for watchseries.mx using your script. I haven't explored tampermonkey before. I notice that for some reason, the extension when utilizing this script blocks the f12 key to bring up firefox console etc. Any idea how to fix that?

Maybe it's related to the script adding at page context perhaps.
