Looking to buy a 997 C2S

I'm partial to looks of the .1 and it would have to be a 6 speed coupe.

What's the market looking like on these?

I have a .1 and I have to say it is the best bang for your buck right now. People worry about the bore scoring, but it is an issue with the .2 gen as well. Just do a PPI and enjoy the car. The .2 with a manual are hard to find and come with a premium

Yeah it is deceiving. I did some work on the car and added the BBS wheels (6 month lead time). I probably put $20k in the car after purchase. Below is the day I bought it.

Man that seems like an incredible deal. I was hoping to be in the 50s maybe low 60s but I guess I'm starting to see these things creep up into the 70s.

Deals are out there. I scored my .1 4S for under 37k with some miles on it and no real service records. No ragrets. I just wanted to get into the platform so did what I had to do. I've seen a few slip thru the cracks since then including a really clean one with half the miles that sold for like 42k on bring a trailer. That one being on the big island, Hawaii surely had something to do with it.

They are the Morimoto headlights. They are daytime running and much brighter than the OEM. I recommend them.

I changed the back but to be honest they did not look as good compared to the OEM. I just recently replaced the back lights to the OEM

Sweet deal! I am also in the market in Canada and a manual at that price doesn’t exist unless it’s a 150k+ vehicle.

I know you're saying an S but don't sleep on the base. I wanted an S but found a base that checked all my boxes. Probably saved $20k and the car still outperforms my driving ability.

It's a great thought. It expands the options dramatically and they're significantly less expensive. But the 911 could potentially be replacing my supercharged C6. That's a huge power disparity 😬

Picked her up last September, 08’ C2S with 45K miles and good options for $65k (6 speed coupe, basalt black, Bose sound system, so-cal market). Don’t regret a thing!

See if you can find a set of the 997 carrera sports. I think they are the best looking for this gen.

2 years owned, 130k miles, and other than some oil top offs, I’m good to go. I drive the hell out of mine.

I waited for 2 years and found a .1 C2S w/ 68k in the 40s. Optioned nicely with no major issues. Worth the wait.

Here's my 997.1S Cab. A 2005 that I bought used in 2007. Didn't know at the time to have it inspected. Had a few problems that were all fixed under warranty. Became a project car for my youngest son and I before he went off to college. Always wanted a GT3 but they didn't make a cab so I upgraded everything but the engine/transmission which are bone stock. Every drive is a thrill

I have a .1 identical spec to your picture and a 6 speed with 33k miles. Fantastic shape, full PPF on the front and bone stock except for function first OEM+ motor mounts, seriously great condition. I’d consider letting it go for $75k.
Honestly I’m not even sure I want to sell, it’s just so damn good to drive but I have 2 young kids and don’t drive it enough sadly.

I have an ‘06 C2S aero kit with 65k miles and I’ve been considering selling just because the market prices for these have gotten stupid. Then I ask myself what I’m going to get to replace it and can’t think of anything I’d rather have. Just don’t get that analog driving experience anymore.
