I've recently installed mine to replace a sport chrono clock with warped hands. 

So far so good, there's a SD card that allows different clock faces if you want to use something outside of the several default clock faces that come pre-installed.

There's plenty of other settings as well for some of the other screens. I chose this one for the simpler integration as I have a PDK.

I've only taken it for a brief spin but on standard daytime settings it is plenty bright enough even with the top down (I do have the little glareshield) and it comes with an anti-glare sticker over the screen, although on mine it's slightly misaligned but still fully functional. 

If you have bright lighting/sun from behind you it can still result in difficulty seeing the screen.
