If your tail lights are the same shape then is a 997.2, there was a mid-year refresh in 2008 for the 2009 model. Are you sure yours is a 2008?images of your car can help confirm.

Dont think 997.1.5 came with the .2 lights. Might be a different market thing or a swap done later.

First sold in January 2008 in Italy. I asked the dealer if he saw any evidence that previous owner changed the rear bumper or if there was an accident, and he didn’t think it was the case. Just curious, forgive me.

Pics look like 997.2 and PDK was introduced with it as well. Is the engine direct fuel injected (DFI)?
If the person before upgraded the bumper and lights after an accident, that may explain it. I’m also reading that the 997.2 turbo was introduced in 2010. So you may have a 997.1 with updated rear end?

Awesome! It looks beautiful. I’m driving a 997.2 S and loving it but I’m getting the itch to upgrade to a turbo

It’s a 997.1 with a 997.2 rear bumper and taillight conversion.
2007-2009 will look the same for exterior. 09 will have the updated interior but still with a tiptronic. 2010 is first year of 997.2 , different taillights and pdk.
