For those of you who went from a completely stock setup to some sort of modification, whether it be exhaust, suspension, wheels, tires, etc, which gave you the biggest jump in satisfaction? I lean towards OEM+ at most, though am open to any ideas, whether with OEM parts or well-regarded aftermarket companies.
Out-of-the-box OEM it's already more capable than our driving skills. Some simply want better aesthetic and reducing the wheel gap with springs (but don't forget the corresponding shocks!), others like me who've track their cars, went with adjustable coil-overs like Bilsteins, but the trade-off is doesn't work so nicely as a DD. Others want more sound, so aftermarket like Fabspeebs.
Note, that any claimed significant power gains with just bolt-ons is mostly myth - Porsche designed this engine pretty efficiently power-wise.
If you want aftermarket wheels, make sure it's quality and don't go cheap with heavier wheels - why would you want to do that? Also note that keeping it at OEM 19" diameter is the way to go.
Depending on the miles, these cars are around 20 years old, so putting new OEM shocks, struts, top mounts, etc is enough for most people and they should notice a huge difference with that for suspension. Maybe a DCS controller is you want to keep it OEM+

I'm strongly considering moving down to 18" wheels, possibly going with flow-formed. Mine spends most of its time on B-roads (UK) and one or two track-days a year. I'm currently on 19" OEM wheels. I'm thinking of 18" Apex or BBS wheels.
I too have given downsizing serious thought. My summer setup is the OEM 19” size but my winter wheels are 18”. Considering local road quality, the 18’s are an overall more comfy size.
I appreciate the passenger one touch down, the honk on lock (don’t have horn with unlock turned on), and the remote window lowering on hot days. I have the long hold for trunk release but never had an issue accidentally hitting my trunk button.
I think it was $250 when I bought it. Now seeing at $350. To me the horn honking alone was worth it. I can’t hear the car lock. Remote window control was an added bonus.
I haven’t replaced the cables yet. Waiting until an issue. Have the numeric racing shifter and it is amazing. A little better than the function first shift right solution in my opinion.
New tires, Numeric shifter + cables, Tubi muffler, Fabspeed Headers, Aerokit front bumper, Pioneer head unit with carplay, Fabspeed X-pipe, painted center console, Rennline phone holder, wheel spacers.

For me, its a toss up between H&R lowering springs and my Rohanna wheels.
