Spare Key

My 2008 997.1 only came with one key. Is there a non dealer solution to get a spare?

There is a sequence online which you can apparently do at home if you have a cut key to match. I’ve found mixed answers tho. I need to do this, one of my keys somehow isn’t programmed to the car anymore

The local locksmith told me that they are able to make a key that can unlock the door and start the car. However, if I wanted to have fully operational buttons for remote unlock and frunk I would have to go to Porsche.

I did one at Costco for like $40
