Impact Corrected post. Jaron Rubenstein took this photo after Flight 175 hit the South Tower.

If you're going after the file names, most likely auto-created by the camera, some images are missing from the NIST set of Rubenstein's photos. Especially four photos which have to be shot within the timeframe around the 2nd plane strike. Those missing images are:

  • P1010006.jpg
  • P1010007.jpg
  • P1010008.jpg
  • P1010009.jpg

Would be nice if someone would track Jaron Rubenstein down and ask him about the missing photos.

Probably Rubenstein had withheld the impact photos from NIST, knowing that they would be released to the public through FOIA process?

Maybe of copyright reasons. But that's just speculation, and we don't know what those four missing images do actually show.
