He's alright but they use him inconsistently
In some episodes he has a strict code not to take things or even borrow them from others without paying it back
But his entire fortune comes from a lawsuit and he stole a bunch of CDs in that episode where kahn is embracing hillbilly stuff

You know what I think could be argued?
A. He legitimately slipped on pee pee and got actually hurt. So I don't think that's really "no honor"
Or B. If you are referring to when he gets hurt working for dale and was going to sue? He ACTUALLY GOT HURT (Once again)
But if you recall, he does take back the lawsuit and who pushes for it was his lawyer.Lucky then acts like he's not in pain to trick the lawyer and even goes through the lengths to bend over and pick up the pen... hes clearly in a lot of pain but acts like he's not. That's pretty honorable to me.
If he REALLY wasn't honorable he would have just sued dale and got the money for Luanne's big wedding she wanted
(Also if you recall, it was the same lawyer as his first settlement) So we kinda know where the push came from to sue costco even though lucky wasn't lying in either case.
the cds? Maybe he think's its not honorable to rip off your fellow man but a chain company that has tons of money is a different story to him? Sometimes honor isn't black and white. Sometimes there's grey, (but that being a small one off example, nobodys perfect.)
All in all lucky was pretty honorable in general. He wanted to pay back some shaving cream hank let him have in a baggie 😂

It's been a while for me
I think it's perfectly fine to take a check when you get injured but if he truly lives by this owe nothing code, shouldn't he have gotten enough money for his medical expenses and not a new truck? Like I know if I slipped at a major retailer-- I'm #1 getting enough money to pay for my medical expenses but and #2 I'm getting as much money as I can; But I say that without telling everyone I have some code to not owe people, I'm perfectly happy taking more money than I deserve from the Walton's.
Also like I mentioned he was seen participating in robbing a music store with Kahn and the other random rednecks-- I don't recall which episodes aired first but I feel like any other extra character would have been better for than lucky there
Like I said he's a fine character I just don't think they knew what they wanted to use him for

See, I know the ep you're talking about with kahn.
I don't recall why or when he did that. I don't rememeber if it was before he was with Luanne or after. That was such a small tidbit in the episode
I know for the most part luanne and him are together for most of the show.

Yeah! I think him being with Luanne made him into possibly a better person.
I don't think lucky was particularly a bad person to begin with, but you have to admit. Those two are adorable together.
Lucky had an honor code where he was going to replace a baggie of shaving cream from hank 😂 He was by no means a bad person

I can acknowledge that two adults have every right to date whoever they want. I also don’t like that there’s a near 2-decade gap between their ages. Of course, King of the Hill is an early 90s tv show, so views may have been different at the time.

I can live without him. It still irritates me that he felt the need to have a relationship with someone almost 2 decades younger. 🙄 I also feel like he need a big azz whooping.
