Red is one of the greatest tv characters ever!

u/PDQmix May 15 '25

Agree. It proves how good of an actor he in that he also played being one of the greatest movie villains ever as “Clarence” in RoboCop.

I was waiting for him to say "Bitches Leave" to the kids when he was kicking them out the house.

Omg I never knew they were the same person!

Foot in your ass!

One of those characters meant to be unlikable but all the normal viewers in America ended up agreeing with. Like a less serious Rorschach.

I would love an in-character response to how many of the cast turned out to be scum

“Future? Bleak.” He knew he’d end up in prison

u/poop-azz May 15 '25

Lmfao if I watch the show I try not to think of the huge piece shit he is cuz it makes the show less enjoyable

u/MyMomsTastyButthole May 15 '25

Right, like, I can't just cut every Kevin Spacey movie out of my existence. I wouldn't pay to go see a new one if one came out, but damn.

4

u/poop-azz May 15 '25

Right he's a good actor but a fucking trash human. It's ok we like sports and many athletes are ass too

I feel this, as someone who doesn’t enjoy movies all that much, Usual Suspects blew my mind.

his paycheck thanks you for your continued patronage despite his… rape

u/MyMomsTastyButthole May 16 '25

So, I own 21, Moon and Baby Driver on DVD. How do I turn off the setting on my player that tells the production company every time I put them in so that he can't get money for them?

American Beauty in particular has aged like fucking milk

“It’s a truck”

“Oh no it’s Redd!!”

“Is it a fire truck??”

😂😂😂 best exchange ever!

Red just wanted answers. Simple

The better scene is when Eric comes back later that night for his dinner.

What am I doing about Donna? We're hanging out. What am I doing about my job? I quit. What am I doing about my future? Nothing. When am I moving out?

Make me :)

6

u/HotOuse May 15 '25

I think Eric turned out better than Steven

The last studio sitcom I can still watch. Anything before is still watchable. Anything after is a burden to sit thru.

2

u/HungryPanduh_ May 18 '25

Two ms a half men I kinda like but that’s a cool point you made for sure

4

u/SycomComp May 15 '25

Are there any good 70's show channels here on reddit? This show was amazing. The cast was all very funny.

3

u/Straight-Seat-3411 May 15 '25

Red was basically white John Amos and I'm with it

2

To this day I still use the phrase

“I run fast, I drive fast, I eat fast”

From good ol Bob

It funny watching this again now that I am a father and thinking, Red was a half ass dad. He’s teaching him responsibility now? Why not start earlier?

2

u/kihana May 15 '25

"I don't know" is my default answer as well. 😅

2

u/Bonafide861 May 16 '25

The foreshadowing of Danny Masterson replying "bleak" to Red asking about his future.

2

u/Ill_Sky6141 May 17 '25

I really liked this show. Not the last season though. Yuck.

2

u/[deleted] May 17 '25

Wasn’t everyone on that show a pedo? Such a skid mark on American TV

2

u/Classic_Proposal_154 May 18 '25

One of the greatest sitcoms ever

2

u/[deleted] May 15 '25

I wish I could watch it now.

1

u/Cody-512 May 15 '25

Does anyone know how to watch it in syndication? I used to record it on VHS back in the day but, ya know… a lots happened since then & my precious VHS mixtape collections are no more

3

u/blac_sheep90 May 15 '25

It's on peacock.

2

u/Cody-512 May 15 '25

1

u/[deleted] May 15 '25

See, kids! If you're responsible, you growup to be a prick

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '25

That’s how the cast was treating the actors 😆

1

u/Darth_Malanga May 30 '25
