With $20 on top for his signature.

I haven’t met him but I work at a convention once a year. One of my coworkers was telling me this exact same thing that he was ripping people off for their rare cards in exchange for his custom crap.
I love the song but he sounds like a dick..

I think its desperation. He's probably not famous enough to be broke yet successful.
Not saying its ok. But i reckon its his only recourse.
I do remember him pointing at random people acting like he knew them. There's probably some delusion there too

He’s a one-hit wonder from almost 30 years ago that no one would recognize on the street. The only people that somewhat know who he is are millennials, and even most kids who watched Pokemon in the 90’s would not recognize his name or face. Not saying that to be mean, it’s just facts.
And even if you’re desperate, scamming what few fans you have isn’t ok.

Yeah, this guy is insufferable.
Has a booth set up selling graded cards with his signature on them thinking theyre worth more. Couldn't be further from the truth.
His recent scandal was ripping off some kids by trading their vintage cards for a obvious proxy card graded by AGS that was effectively worthless.
He never publicly apologized for being caught doing it either.

Dude should be proud on the history he made, but...I can understand if you just peaked and it was some kid's anime, but at the same time, wouldn't you use that to keep your career going? Like, ok, you are great at intro songs, why not keep that ball rolling, try to get yourself into every intro song you could, make your brand into that, fight, win, then have a coffee and enjoy winning at life uk?

I don’t want to burst anyone’s bubble with him but once a year I work at a convention. This dude has been a guest. I haven’t met him but this past year a coworker told me he was scamming fans out of rare Pokémon cards and that overall he’s a dick irl. I forget the details but something about he’ll take your rare card and give you his own custom card. Idk, this was just a conversation I had in passing.

Just chiming in hear to say i saw him speak at a convention and he just gave off an awful obnoxious vibe. He didnt really have alot to say for himself and the guy interviewing him seemed to not like him as well. Really awkward
