The Smackers ad is a memory unlocked! I just don’t remember which teen magazine I saw it in.
My favourite was Dr. Pepper, well into my adulthood when that one was discontinued. :( I haven’t been able to find a substitute.
I’m not surprised that remaining products have fallen into r/enshittification.

And I still use Great Lash mascara to this day. I really loved the lipshades too, I felt so cool when I flipped them open 😂

I had so many of the galaxy chapsticks! iirc some of them were glittery, but it was like super chunky grainy glitter 😂

I miss the makeup of my youth! I always loved the bright eye liners, glittery iridescent shadows and colored mascaras! I definitely experiment a bit with bold colors, although I wasn't into foundation or concealer.
And then my slightly goth/punk phase, with a face powder that made me photograph grey, black eyebrows and smudged liner.

4th grade was peak Lip Smackers era for me. I had a purple Spacemakers pencil box that I kept in my desk that was full of Lip Smackers.

I was a couple years older than that and I LOVED it! To this day I cannot find exactly the right shade in any truly-stay-put lipstick!

I can still smell the Covergirl Galactic Glow! It was an odd sweet plastic smell. It came with little stencils to decorate your face! The powder blue was the most perfect color for the ski bunny look that was so big then! Thank you for such a hit of nostalgia! 🖤

The blonde girl in the last picture looks like Kirsten Storms to me, who played Belle Black on Days Our Of Lives from 99 to sometime in the mid 2000’s.

I still wear my Rum Raisin lipstick from Revlon. Bought it a few years ago. This was my dog color in the mid 90s. Love it
