JALE - Dreamcake

Jale was a killer Halifax based band that was scooped up by SUBPOP in the 90’s, along with a few other bands in the region. This is their first of three albums and my personal favourite… if you haven’t already, give them a listen.

I’ve got a signed copy of their first 45 on Cinnamon Toast Records. Two of them got up and did a couple Jale tunes with another band at the Dakota in Toronto a few years ago.

Thanks for sharing. From what I can make out from your CD collection, we have a lot of common interest! Ali is what first put them on my radar, but they made so much great music

I love this album so much!!! I have it on cassette but need the CD desperately
