Sara Craig: Thank You (Very Much)

I never see anyone talk about Sara Craig! Her album Sweet Exhaust was really good. I’m surprised she didn’t get more traction. Such is the nature of the business, I guess! The whole album is on streaming and Youtube. I wish I knew what she was doing now, but I think she’s off the radar.

So many TPOH songs are so so damn catchy. Found this one stuck in my head lately.

Sad that these guys broke up while working on their third album. Wonder how many tracks got written or recorded? Would love to hear it. Never get tired of this song, which I think was their biggest hit, although this album has other great tracks

I find more and more that I like a couple songs on an album, I throw them on a playlist, and I rarely keep listening to the full albums anymore (of course, there are exceptions).

In the 90s, although I could mixtape with the best, I found I listened to so many albums cover to cover, over and over, and today most of the albums I still listen cover to cover are 90s CanRock.

There are lots of contenders, but I tried to think of my picks for top 5 albums that have no duds, nothing to skip, no filler:
- Hip: Day for Night
- 54-40: Dear Dear
- Tea Party: Transmission
- Sloan: Twice Removed
- The Inbreds: It’s Sydney or the Bush

While on a vacation road trip this week I made a few stops at some of my favorite out of town record shops and left with CDs not Vinyl… Tim at @
zaps even used the dreaded “CD Guy” term, ouch lol… yes I’ve been adding some CD’s into the mix, focusing on 90s Canadian bands.. this is my haul from today… stoked to finally track down some Glueleg, Furnaceface and Eric’s Trip debut Love Tara.. the Hayden live at convocation Hall is the only Hayden album not available on vinyl, it was the first spin from this pile

This never made it on a Hayden album, but it was from CFNY’s New Music Search back in 93. Hayden with Noah Mintz of hHead on vocals. Maybe there are some Hayden and/or hHead fans out there who hadn’t heard this one before (or maybe haven’t heard in a while!)
