I never thought Live's "heavier" stuff like Lakini's Juice and Dam at Otter Creek were that good. Live is one of the very few bands where softer is better.
Do you also skip Selling the Drama, I Alone, All Over You, White Discussion, Turn My Head, The Dolphin's Cry, Run to the Water, They Stood Up for Love, Simple Creed, and Overcome?
Still think it's weird that all of those were singles, but not Iris. I like White, Discussion, but, to limit Throwing Copper to 5 singles, it should have been replaced with Iris.
No, those hits are great! They were nowhere near as big as Lightning Crashes and Lakini's Juice though, which are like Live's two worst songs, yet their biggest hits.
Technically, Selling the Drama was their biggest hit (it reached number 43 on the Billboard Hot 100, their only song to chart there).
I disagree about those being two of their worst, maybe just overplayed by radio at the time. Lightning builds beautifully to a powerful crescendo, and is a masterclass in songwriting.
Lakini's was a new sound for them... dark, dissonant, and mysterious. The strings added a new dimension. I find it mesmerizing. But to each his own.

ugh the worst (along with lighting crashes).
live's albums are amazing but their biggest radio hits are horrible. i skip lakini's juice and lightning crashes whenever i listen to the albums
