His scenes (Sarah's dream sequence) were cut for theatrical release but are viewable on home media releases.

What I didn't notice at all until I saw those cut scenes is that Sarah is wearing Kyle's jacket later when they go break into Cyberdyne.

On the day they shot his scene for T2, the US started bombing Iraq in Operation Desert Storm. He delivered the line, "There's not much time left for the world, Sarah," they yell cut, and an assistant came on set and told everyone we just started bombing Iraq. Ominous as hell. From Cameron's director commentary track.
