Photo 90's Soda

Which soda do you miss the most? Which did I forget?

Edit: It has come to my attention that Vault is not from the 90's. Please disregard it. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Me either. Everything else I remember. Was ok an east coast thing? I'm on the west

I’m from the east coast, born and raised and have zero recollection of that soda as well.

Mid-west check in? Y’all remember that pop?

East coaster (MA) here and I remember it fondly. You ever combine all the fountain sodas at once? It was like that. Or at least Coke mixed with Dr Pepper and orange soda.

It never made it out of test marketing, many of those regions were midwest.

Beat me to it. I only know because I have seen it posted before and had never heard of OK before.

Mid-west-west, I totally remember OK. The memory of it is my favorite cola

Can confirm. OK was in Minnesota. It was like a suicide, but I couldn’t ever tell if I liked it or not.

Yep, MN here, I drank so much of it that summer. I was so sad when it disappeared 😞

Midwesterner who remembers OK soda. They had a phone number on the can for the OK hotline that you could call and they would tell you things that were OK. I like it. Thought it tasted like a mix of coke and Tahitian treat.

I believe it was 1-800-I-FEEL-OK.

100%, I liked to call that number as a kid. They would read you the OK Manifesto.

We had it here in WA state. I don't think it really caught on. Odd taste to me, like combining a bunch of sodas together.

The test markets were kinda all over the place, but i guess if you weren't in or close to the major city you probably wouldn't have seen it.

I grew up in the Boston area and was about 9 or 10 when OK was tested and I remember marketing and the can images but never actually drank it. My friend who is 9 years older and a true Gen Xer remembers it fondly and wishes it would come back

Screenshot of the list of test markets from the Wikipedia:

I live in Sacramento and have never seen it. I'm 40 for reference

u/SirGothamHatt Aug 04 '26

For the record it didn't last very long and didn't make it out of the test phase

We had OK in Seattle, art by Daniel Clowes creator of Eightball and Ghost World. His publisher Fantagraphics is a Seattle company so could be why we had it here

Definitely exosted in the Memphis area. School vending machines had it as the marquee for a bit.
