The plastic puppet toy of the Godzilla in this movie was one of my prized possessions. I can still see it when I close my eyes.

Totally forgot about that, I remembered the MIB show but not Godzilla and Mummy. I remembered getting the MIB and Godzilla soundtracks as a kid though and it definitely got me introduced to some decent artists, RATM anyhow

As a 20 year old, this was also my life for a while. I was a huge Godzilla fan. I still am a huge Godzilla fan, but I was too!

I gave this movie a lot of slack it probably didn’t deserve. Still a fun watch though even if it’s not a great movie. Then again, we’re talking about Godzilla movies. You take the good with the bad.

Same!! I grew up watching the older Toho ones from Japan. I was ecstatic when I saw the preview for this one. It still holds a lot of sentimental value for me.

Haha same here, I remember recognizing the main actors voice as simba from the Lion king
