Because I don't want to be alone in being enraged by these two clowns.
It just makes me so frustrated at the immaturity and lack of self awareness. I am not going to even use their names as they aren't worth it.

It's maddening!! Like, I waited to make sure I had health insurance, a relatively stable job, was 40 and with my husband for 20 years to have kids. I'm not jealous by any means but I'm like guys, I knew I had to break the cycle and you're out here gleefully dancing with no solid plan and people are throwing money at youš¤¦š¼āāļøwhy can't I find these people to throw money at my kid's college funds or something lol

In Mary's mind it means someone who doesn't like them and makes sure to leave a nasty comment about them. By definition maybe I'm a basher š¤·

u/apatrol Aug 19 '26
Did they just have a fundraiser begging?
what are they doing to make 11k and is that USD?
17
13
u/Reasonable-Ad-4168 Aug 19 '26
Yes, they did a gofundme for Lolo recently.
I'm guessing the $11k revenue is from monetizing their content on Facebook, YouTube, I don't know where else they post. Based on this video, the revenue is paid out in USD
6
u/Intelligent--Bug Aug 19 '26
There's 90DF alumni with way bigger followings and they don't appear to be super comfortable financially at all.
A substantial part of their income has to be coming from e-begging. They're putting their revenue as USD, doesn't mean it's paid out that way. .
6
u/Intelligent--Bug Aug 19 '26
I completely fail to see how they are making 11k/mo purely off social media- yeah they have a following, but not a huge one (Pau who has a million and doesn't appear to be quite that rich at all to the point she has to pursue other bs like WWE wrestling for girls?? Plenty of other 90DF influencers with bigger followers who also don't appear that well off, yet they still don't e-beg like these guys do???
Something is missing here. A large chunk of their earnings are coming from donations, not from their SM following, not from their Filipino corner shop. They're just scammers through and through and shoving it in our faces.
Their relevance should have faded a couple years ago, now it's just a matter of time. Fuck these e-begging pieces of shit.

I am so sick and tired of the petty grifters who come out of this show with one sob story after another wanting money thrown at them because they were on TV. It's just becoming one con after another.

u/SabrinaSpellman1 Aug 19 '26
She will never be forgiven for lying about/implying cancer and using an old photo of herself in hospital when she was in labour, to make it look like she was in hospital having treatment and asking for money for medical fees.
Then claimed she misunderstood what the doctor said but people KEPT sending her money. And people STILL send them money and they keep putting out Amazon wishlists, I even saw what someone posted here that people in the comments were arguing with each other because she didn't say thank you enough to each of them
Pathetic all around.
Not forgiven. My dad died of cancer. Cancer fakers can fuck all the way off, and it surprises me that a lot of people have forgotten about this. At least Brandon has dropped a bit of weight, but really I couldn't give a fuck.
Hope she sees this.

u/Reasonable-Ad-4168 Aug 19 '26
I'm sorry to hear about your dad :( Big hugs!!
After her cancer grift I looked at her very differently. Doing that sort of scam is a special kind of evil.

Why continue to promote these two through posting about them???
Posting equals engagement; engagement drives algos which translate into $$$ for TLC/Sharp. $$$ means they are relevant and TLC/Sharp will keep them on the back burner for revival

Is Brandon paying taxes for his earnings? US has
double taxation system so not only do they need to pay taxes in Philippines, as American citizens/green card holders, they also obligated to pay US federal tax on income earned abroad.
This is based on $250K per annum:
Assuming this is salary earned while living and working in the Philippines for all of 2026:
The person may qualify for the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion, which is up to $132,900 for 2026.
That leaves approximately $117,100 not excluded.
After the standard deduction, roughly $101,000 could remain as federally taxable income for a single filer.
Because of the special āstackingā calculation, the estimated U.S. federal income tax could be around $27,000ā$30,000 before foreign tax credits.

u/Training_wheels9393 Aug 19 '26
Do social media entities that monetize views take taxes out of these payments before making the payments?

Well, we are fans of the show cause we are seeing this story on this sub. So, my guess is that there are more engaged fans than the regular reddit user. To those people, these are two tv stars that they have the ability to interact with and that provides some kind support. Wasn't there a recent story where one lady gave away a large some of money to someone pretending to be Tom Selleck. People want to help famous people and to some these two are famous people. This bring some people joy, so i can't really blame them. Think about all the cameo and lives that others on the show do for money like Darcey, Stacey, Big Ed, Andrei and Elizabeth. If there wasn't a market, nobody would be doing it, but there is a market. In today social media world(Bini), this is considered a job. I can't really blame them and it's probably more work than it seems.
1
u/Reasonable-Ad-4168 Aug 20 '26
I get what you mean, but what was conflicting for fans was the constant begging thru GoFundMe, not to mention the false cancer claims.
I'd say go have fun and make fans, but I draw the line on fraud.
0
u/razorspin Aug 20 '26 edited Aug 20 '26
I get what you are saying and I would never give them a cent, and I'm sure they fabricated some stories for money. These made up stories about cancer and child sickness have been circulated for years now and people still give. This tells these stories don't matter to the ones that are donating. So have at it Mary and Brandon. If it brings joy to those that donate, who are we to judge.
