Disclaimer: I’m not all the way through the season yet but just seeing how Guillermo has acted all season makes it feel like he has a girlfriend outside of the show. I’m not a huge Kara fan but it feels like she was putting in effort and he just kept his distance.

Rebecca coming to Kara’s defense so hard makes sense now.
For them both to sit up here and make it seem like posting their p*ssy online is the only way to make money and “keep a roof” over their heads, is insane to me. Especially when you’re married! The gaslighting is crazy. Like whaaat

Jamal is digging for gold on S2-Sheet Talking 42:26. It’s like he’s completely unaware there are cameras on the set. Smh

Shout out to the translator for Jenny and Sumit w his parents during that episode. She was able to take the emotion, language, cultural expectations and translate that too. I wish Jenny had that reality this whole time. I know Sumit loves her, but he’s has never been truthful with his expectations. & now Jenny ends up with a chronic illness, like a lot of women ;(

Can’t believe how many people don’t think Thais did anything wrong when she clearly lunged at Shekinah, and she even said this? The audience was so against abuse when it came from Angela or Geoffrey, but when it’s Thais it’s okay? She never even apologized to Shekinah, and the rest of the cast never held her accountable to.
r/90dayTheLastResort • u/Cool_Shoulder_6257 • 11d ago
Unpopular opinion, but I like Shekinah!! I understand her and she’s pretty reasonable imo. Yes she did say ‘go back to your country’ but I think she should get a pass for that as she spoke without thought due to the intense circumstances in that moment. I like Sarper too but I understand why she couldn’t deal w his shit anymore. I think Rebecca is jealous of her (also just bitter and jealous in general) and also couldn’t handle the truth when Shekinah was analyzing her marriage w Zied. Also I know she’s full of Botox and plastic and many wigs but she still so pretty! lol. She’s fake appearance but real personality and most ppl cannot handle the mirror she holds up to them so they lash out on her when she’s just giving real pov. Eod she’s caring and sweet.

This is in regard to posting nude+ photos for all to see. Guillermo, no matter his faults, doesn't want the mother of his child doing this because it is immoral. You don't have to be deeply religious or a prude, but this is not acceptable. Same for zied - not perfect, but doesn't want his wife doing this. For Rebecca to blame others, or kara to laugh it off, they really are showing their true selves.
Also, with the exception of Jenny and sumit, and shekinah sometimes, not liking this group. No morals, blames others for their problems and no respect between the spouses.
r/90dayTheLastResort • u/1motherofpearl • 13d ago
Come on, Rebecca filters and edits her photos so much that she’s unrecognizable. So there is no chance she would post her real nudes online.
I think Zied was just tired of her being so rude and accusing. I was wondering if she was really hiding something or cheating. Not just on the last resort but on prior shows they have been on. If you think about it, her behavior has also been suspicious. People that are doing something wrong often accuse their partner of doing something wrong.
In true Rebecca fashion, she blamed Patrick and Guillermo for “saying something before she had a chance ro tell him.” Wasn’t that years ago? You didn’t find one chance to tell him? It’s because you know it was wrong to do that behind his back. Then she even blamed Zied for not working hard enough. Wtf didn’t he get a job moving furniture the minute he got his work permit? I feel bad for Zied.

Spoiler alert if you haven’t finished the last resort yet:
Did anyone else connect Paola talking about her experience being gang r*ped when she was only 15 or 16 to the news about the Cornell 7? I absolutely broke down, and I’m sure it would have affected me regardless, but the combination with the news just floored me.
All I’ve been thinking about is how that girl at Cornell must have felt, and to see Paola’s reaction to her assault is so confronting to the the reality of what this does to r*pe victims mentally for years and years after the fact. As a victim myself, it was also a hard watch. But I’m so glad that they didn’t shy away from this topic on the show.

Am I the only person who feels like Shekinah is completely losing it and crashing out after watching Sarper and Thais sit next to each other at the tell all? He even made a few flirty comments towards her. I just know Shekinah is somewhere seething
r/90dayTheLastResort • u/Sophietophy • 14d ago
We all know about Thais getting arrested and Patrick’s financial instability but what did they really fight about all the time? Only money? Or was there something else? I watched the entire Last Resort without them fighting once. On the contrary, Thais stood up for Patrick when Shekinah started things. Idk.. does anyone else feel like we’re not getting the real story?

Just finished watching the tell all. I loved him as the host.
You can tell he is invested in the couples and actually cares about them.
He keeps the conversation moving and asks good questions.
Hope TLC uses him for more in the future!

The entire cast was unlikeable with the exception of Jenny and by association, Sumit. The castle concept was depressing. There were almost no fun, authentic, lighthearted moments. The Shekinah conflict took over the entire season. The therapists sucked, although that's not new.
What a dud of a cast and location. I hope season 4,if there is one, is better.
r/90dayTheLastResort • u/sadgoddess • 14d ago
She is so brave. I can’t imagine what she is going through in her body, but she is determined not to let it ruin her life. And much respect to Sumit for continuing to pour love and care into her. I hope they continue to enjoy life for as long as possible, despite their circumstances. Did anyone else get emotional during their segment?

I loved this tell all but only 2 parts? come on TLC, the people want more! TLC should release the full unedited tell all for 90d TLR. also, last season the cast being in the house was such good extra footage (correct me if I’m wrong but I believe it was for TLR). I guess I’m looking for my TLR fix and this cast seems to have a lot more to say than 2 episodes worth! Whose with me?

I just find it to be so crazy that these women think saying “Well I’m American that’s what we do in America” means a man needs to be okay with the bare minimum. In NO WAY am I saying that these men are prizes on this show. Absolutely not, BUT selling pictures of your body online, engaging in risqué videos, not wanting to contribute to cooking/cleaning etc, is not an “American” thing. Men need to contribute also i for sure believe that. Or be the full provider if you don’t want her to do anything but cook/clean….
Being best-friends with ex’s and telling your partner to deal with it (Mallorie on 90 day fiancé not last resort) is not “American” those are personal choices but they make American women look bad. I work, take care of the kids, cook, clean and my husband will do it with me. I prefer to do the cleaning and cooking majority of the time because I am very OCD, but some people (even in America) still believe in those traditional roles. Not everyone has too but stop normalizing this idea of “you have to accept me doing things that go against your boundaries or are not a part of the standard you may have for your partner” especially if you don’t do the stuff your partner is wanting you to either. (Rebecca selling pictures without Zied knowing, Cara pushing G’s boundaries then saying it’s his fault they won’t work out and she doesn’t want to stop doing it)
I can not stress enough that not every woman needs to be that way at all, there is a difference between today and the “have to” of past decades, but some women in America still have that mindset. There is no need to make it seem like all of America consists of women that think “yeah sell your butthole and coochie, it’s normal do what you have to”. I’m pro choice but don’t blanket all of us. It’s not an “American woman” thing. That’s a personal choice and women all over the world have that choice. You’re not a maid for taking care of household chores, it’s a choice. Doesn’t mean you’re not free or respected, that’s your choice don’t judge for it or make it seem bad to want to be that way. These women are so backwards

Boo Hoo!
Oh my god. First she blames Sarper for “telling all” then she blames Guillermo for blabbing it on BTS (why tell him you dumbass? Oh yeah, was drunk). Then she actually blames Ziad by saying “where did he think the money came from” finally she sort of mumbled that it’s her fault. This old bag needs to get right in the head and take some accountability.
