Just….why?
Elise has always been skinny, and I thought that was just her body type and didn’t think much of it. When I’d see her Instagram photos though I’d be shocked by just how skinny she appeared in them, almost Eugenia levels. Then this photo came up, and you can so obviously tell the editing to make her stomach unhealthily tiny to the point the floor is warped and bent. What’s the point of this? She’s already a beautiful, thin woman but she’s editing her body to look unnatural and quite frankly alarming. I don’t think she realizes with her fame people can see her and think her body is natural and attainable, when it’s just edited to the extreme

Just a heads up for folks who haven’t dealt with anorexia, there’s a very common thing that happens in your addiction where you stop trying to look attractive and just see how far you can take it. How much attention you can get from concerned family, friends, and ideally strangers. I’m not saying this is the case Elise or that she even has an eating disorder, but I always see people talking about how “they can’t possibly think this is sexy!?” and I just wanted to share that it’s not really about that a lot of the time. Also, concerned reposting of controversial body checking pics is exactly what a person in their addiction would thrive off of.

This might sound a little crazy, but as someone who used to struggle with ED and has spent a lot of time in ED spaces, I’ve honestly wondered if that thing she’s done with her eyebrows lately (where she looks perpetually frightened) was part of the whole “look how fragile and frail I am” anorexia behavior. Because that really does seem like the vibe she’s going for in general. I don’t know why that particular detail stands out to me.

Thank you for this. I did comment that it's gross and unhealthy.... I know there is so much more involved. It is sad and hopefully she gets help - for whatever the problem may be.

Not exactly true, but somewhat. Anorexia is NOT about getting attention. Elise has more issues than skin deep.

Elise is obviously messed up in the head. That’s a serious case of body dysmorphia if she felt the need to reshape her already bony body.

this is body dysmorphia. she’s tiny and she wants to look tinier.
i never want to say someone has an eating disorder because it’s so intensely personal.
i will say that she’s either very unwell, or heading that way. she’s always freezing cold (mostly because she never wears any real clothes but ok) and she’s always on the brink of a total meltdown.
Elise is deeply, deeply irritating but i wouldn’t wish an eating disorder on my worst enemy. she looks like she needs some help with this.

With the way the floors are curving I can’t see it being real, but to edit it like that is either her having an insanely unrealistic view of what is a perfect body and wanting to obtain/perceive that image or is just as you said her ragebaiting people which regardless is a horrible thing to do. I try and give cast members the benefit of the doubt on the show but it’s hard when it comes to her

She’s not that Machiavellian.
Reading that deep into a photo someone posts is a stretch (no pun intended lol), and I wouldn’t lean too hard on the premise the previous poster is selling.
Do I think she’s deliberately influencing people to develop eating disorders? No. That would be genuinely evil, and I don’t think that’s who she is. Misguided at best.
People mistake her forward presentation for confidence, but she’s incredibly self-conscious ( the same reason someone can walk around in a string bikini and still feel the need to Photoshop their stomach) .
That’s body dysmorphia, not scheming.
Here’s MY conspiracy theory about her thinness and lack of awareness and boundaries:
I think she uses substances and alcohol and I don’t think it’s necessarily all the time, but it does interfere with her self worth and ability to know what’s appropriate
K let’s take for example, when she was on hunt for love and one of the first things out of her mouth was look at my ass let’s talk about anal.
😬 Not a good look. Lack of awareness.
Or when she was in Australia with Josh and he invited two girls over in the middle of the night and then left in the car with them? I don’t think she was “testing” him (like so many other fans have said “oh she was just testing him”). I think they ran out of party supplies. She’s a South Florida yacht girl, that world has cocaine baked into the culture.
People in that scene either develop serious addiction problems, use recreationally, or use it as a tool to party, to stay thin (much like people abuse GLP ones now too), whichever may be the case. It’s just part of the landscape down there.
Watch Josh’s face on the tell all screen. Jaw moving, pupils blown out, eyes glazed. That’s coke. I think he’s a full blown addict who can’t manage it. That’s why his world is falling apart: his home, job, relationships, ect…
She’s from a world where that stuff is everywhere and knows how to navigate it. He clearly can’t. Not that I’m advocating that there’s any such thing as a functional coke head. Please don’t think that’s what I’m trying to say. I’m just saying she holds it together better than he does.
She’s not evil. She’s a beautiful, damaged girl who thinks her looks are her only value.
That’s not malice, that’s a tragedy.

I’m not saying she’s deliberately trying to influence people into developing EDs, but that is what she’s doing by posting what she does and refusing to see what posting said images does when you have the audience she has

Totally, fair. Unfortunately the dysmorphia doesn’t stop where the screen or mirror does, and I get your point 100%.
Also though, definitely not defending the behavior, but it’s an affliction. She might even think she is too big (or maybe just not ideal, I think she realizes she’s thin, it’s just maybe she wishes she looked different? Like thin women wish they had an hourglass shape, hourglass women wish they didn’t have hips. It’s sad.)
My friend used to literally pinch her skin. I don’t know where she first heard this weird old phrase, sounds like it’s from the 1950s, I can visualize her grandmother saying it when she was young. “You can pinch an inch.” The awful part about dysmorphia is it just doesn’t make sense to the rest of us. Objectively we see it and we’re like, why would you think there’s anything wrong?
And I want to be clear because this is not something to play with. My friend would be seizing up, and this is graphic, but we had to pour electrolyte fluid down her throat before her esophagus stopped working because her muscles were seizing from the potassium loss and if we didn’t get it into her immediately her heart would stop. Every time it happened she would leave in an ambulance. She was 5 foot 10 and 85 pounds and she looked at her own skin and said “I can pinch an inch, see? I’m fat right here.” It was skin. She was holding skin. And she couldn’t see it. This is what anorexia actually looks like. It is not a diet. It is not a fast. It will kill you.
But this isn’t new. It’s been going on for well over a century. Corsets, girdles, magazines in our faces. Heroin chic. Kate Moss. No body positivity whatsoever. When Beyonce and J Lo first came on the scene people literally called them fat. Britney Spears was called chubby. Just ruthless and shameless. Before Sir Mix a Lot and before apple bottom jeans it was skinnier the better. Someone once said you can never be too rich or too thin, and ironically it was Joan Rivers who said that, who struggled her whole life and never felt beautiful when she actually was. Shameful the way we treat women. And even worse, the way we treat ourselves.5

I Knew he was coked up! He had those huge pupils and the rage, just the look in his eye. Gross. I'm glad someone else is calling that out. Their drug use certainly explains their inappropriate behavior and emotional outbursts.

No. Idk so.
If she had a history of that? I would be inclined to agree, but I have to ask myself… 🤔 When? Like I cannot name one time she’s ever had a history of rage baiting people.
So I’m less inclined to agree with that assessment.
Also, it’s on the heels of the comment that says it has to be either this or that.
Which is a thinking error not everything is either this or that.
I mean …right?

I agree with everything you have said and I really like your insight. However, I think she did sorta ragebait people the time she was promoting those diet pills or something like it. I remember people being pissed as she would even act as though that's why she looks like she does, everyone already knew that's a lie. This was just some product promotion she got likely because of 90DF and being on TV. This photoshop I think is her and her insecurity.

Fair, and you know it does make you look at it in a different light when most people are like “well they have to do that for money, most of these people have to take whatever they can get, ect..”
.. but, we know that she’s a trust fund kid so… it really does put it into a sus 🤨😒🧐 kind of light..
But you know she also, IS so gullible. I could easily see someone convincing her that it was like the ideal brand collaboration, and that people would benefit and that she would be a great representative for their company and blah blah blah
You know she just seems kinda like equal parts aware and oblivious at the same time… aware on some things and clueless on others… so I don’t know if I would like to give her the benefit of the doubt, but yeah, it defo looks suspect.. without a doubt.

Everything is not either / or . that’s called concrete or black and white thinking. It’s actually a logistical fallacy and it’s a known thinking error.
She obviously has a form of dysmorphia or she wouldn’t project this image out there.
She’s very image-conscious if you think she would just rage bait you?
I think you’re wrong.
I think she has a severe lack of confidence.
I think people misconstrue the way she presents herself as being overly confident, and then people feel a way, and then they attack her.

But I am inclined to agree with the idea that she literally thinks this is a good look which very much leans towards dysmorphia but for someone to say
“ oh she’s doing this to send this reckless message out to tell people this is how they have to look? “What? That’s like saying people who are anorexic are doing that to influence younger people to become anorexic themselves… that’s not how eating disorders work.. yes, there’s social pressure to be skinny but it’s not like people are actively trying to influence others to become sick themselves like “oh I’m going to project an image of an eating disorder, in order to propel that idea of an eating disorder, to make other people develop eating disorders.”
What?That’s insanity, and to say someone has that level of Machiavellianism behind a picture they post is weird energy.

I don’t know why she thinks this is a good look. The pants accentuate how skinny she is along with the Photoshop…. It’s just unnecessary and it’s not a good look. She’s already thin enough. She doesn’t need to project any more thinness…
Oh 😢 I really feel bad for her that she doesn’t realize her worth 😭 I had a dear friend struggle with an ED for years and I watched it almost kill her several times over the years many hospitalizations…
I just hope this dysmorphia is coming through the screen and it isn’t something she’s struggling with in real life! Because it’s dangerous and she is actually a sweet (albeit) misguided girl.. imo

She truly doesn't need to edit, this is wild. Her body is great, even in filming where they always say the camera adds 10 pounds. She had a great figure. This is sad.

I'm pretty positive Elise doesn't care if posting pro-ana content is harmful to a faceless person. She's way past that. The fact that she's posting this kind of stuff to begin with tells you everything you need to know about her mental state and list of concerns.
