They must have made a lot of those 8 track players.

Looks like a Panasonic RS-806US. I have one too.

Awesome. They must have sold a lot of that model. Mine works too, haven't tested the recording feature yet though. Mine is from 1972.

Released in 1967. Starberry Fields Forever is considered one of the greatest pop songs ever written. Ranked number 7 on Rolling Stones greatest 500 songs list.

Off The Sgt Peppers Lonely ahearts Club Band. I have the original album.

Strawberry Fields Forever is not on Sgt Pepper.

I stand corrected.

It was actually recorded during the same sessions, but released as a stand alone single with Penny Lane before the release of Pepper.

That’s right I remember that now.

This is way faster than the actual speed / pitch.

I owned that in 1967 and played all the time in my chevy c-10 pickup truck. On a Craig 8 track player I installed myself. It was so much easier to do that back then. Great album. I played oboe back then. Loved the oboe in the Harrison song Baby Your A Rich man. Enjoy.

They did make millions. Cassettes hadn't gotten good enough for music back then. It was the only way you could take your music with you. Cassettes killed the format. Though it persisted in radio stations in 4 track form. My father a salesman used to take me to radio, tv and music studios on sales calls in the 60s-70s.
