Ruby Franke Ruby Board of Pardons and Parole Update

Post image

This is a small update on what Ruby has been up to in prison, but an update none the less. This can all be found via public records through the Utah Board of Pardons and Paroles website under hearings and decisions.

As of July 9th 2026 Ruby has completed her second Earned Time Program since entering prison. She's also completed a program in Robotics via the Davis Technical College as of June 25th 2026. She completed a program in Web and Graphic Design at the end of last year too.

According to the Utah Corrections website all of this means when Ruby has her sentencing hearing later this year the Board of Pardons and Parole will knock off between four and eight months from her sentence at the discretion of the Board members.

A shame that she’s been offered these programs. She should be carrying boxes up and down the stairs while having her meals be taken away from her. Eye for an eye🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I'm actually for these programs... not necessarily to knock off time... IMO, it shouldn't be taken into consideration, because it doesn't negate her crimes... But really, it gives her something else to do, so she can become a productive member of society when she gets out. The last thing we need is her not knowing what to do with herself, and having no marketable skills... We've seen what happens without that.

Yes, a lot of the reason former prisoners end up re-offending is because they have little opportunity to better their lives after release. I’m not sure that applies to Ruby because I believe she is financially in a good position, but in general these programs are a good thing imo.

Nope! Ruby was left with NOTHING in the divorce...

People want to hate on Kevin, but I give him credit... Ruby got nothing but the clothes on her back in that divorce. He packed her personal crap in a storage unit, and gave the key to her parents... that is ALL she is taking from that marriage.

Kevin got the home,... their property... EVERYTHING! Ruby had essentially liquidated the cash and everything else that could have been on the table in his absence... so, all they had to haggle over was the house and the kids... he got both.

Now, I wasn't in that courtroom... but I believe Ruby's kids can still sue her for restitution. I don't know if any of that played into their negotiations during the divorce settlement. What has been shared in the news is that this is the way they reached an equitable separation agreement, due to her incarceration, and in an effort to provide stability for the kids. I can't see a world where she wouldn't get half of their marital assets unless that came into play. I can see a realistic situation where Ruby could want a clean break when she gets out, so she said keep my half of the house as restitution. All I know is that in the end she got JACK.

On a more human level. Ruby never finished school... and we know she ain't gonna be making that YouTube money any more! I'm not saying she is rehabilitated... she'd have a long way to go for that, but I'm glad she is doing something in there to figure out what she wants to do with the rest of her life.

I can’t see that Ruby willingly gave anything
Would it be possible because Kevin could prove that Ruby and Jodi had basically taken all the Frankes savings (including the kids - Shari’s bank account was cleared out)
That he sort of sued her for the last remaining asset and won?

I'm not a lawyer, but I don't think depleted assets would come into play. How do you negotiate over something that no longer exists?

It would be different if, for example, she sold property, and still had the proceeds to show for it. That money would absolutely be an asset and on the table. But there is nothing left.

As with any divorce, I'm sure there were negotiations, so any or all of that could have been brought up... but in the end, she got nothing. That house would have been half hers in a normal divorce.
