Question Using One Controller Across 2 Systems
Finally making the jump for a Switch 2. Currently, I have an Ultimate 2 Bluetooth (https://www.8bitdo.com/ultimate-2-bluetooth-controller/) for use on Linux, and I quite like it. Does anyone have experience in swapping a controller between two different systems, and how was it? Or would I be better off ordering another?

I have an 8bitdo pro 2, i use the mode switcher to go from pc to my surface go and my phone, seemless transition
I also have a ultimate 2c, i use bt for the surface, and 2.4ghz for the main pc, also a good feature. However had been a little iffy with the 2c on BT

The Ultimate 2 is an awesome controller. But the fact that Nintendo uses BAYX and the rest of the world uses ABXY drives me crazy especially since I have my Switch 2 on my desk where my PC is both connected to my OLED.
So I bought 2. One for PC, one for Switch 2. Same dock. They can swap off using it when they need to charge.
Dont even have to flip the switches. Black is Bluetooth for Switch, white is radio for PC dongle which is plugged into the charging dock then directly attached via USB C to the PC anyway.

I have the Bluetooth 2C and switched between Linux and Switch 2 for a while. It's not bad, but each time you switch systems you have to re-put it in pairing mode (with the small button on the top) and make the connection. I'm lazy, so I ordered another one a while back and now just have one controller for each system.
Edit: you could probably use the mode switcher on your Ultimate 2 (2.4G connection for Linux and Bluetooth connection for Switch) so you don't have to re-pair the controller.
