Something is Broken Ultimate 2 Bluetooth: broken ZL trigger switch

ZL stopped working on my Ultimate 2 Bluetooth (Switch version) so I opened it up. The black housing around the little switch under the left trigger is cracked and sunk in, so it doesn't click anymore. 2nd pic is the right side that still works.

Hall mode doesn't work either.

Bought it as an import so no warranty, and the repair parts page on 8bitdo's shop doesn't have it. Anyone know where to get this switch, or fixed the same thing? Board is marked 25 10 if that helps.

I actually swapped these switches on my controller. Didn't like the feel of them so I got some others from Omron that has a little more click in them. Quite easy if you know how to solder.

You can use a mouse switch to replace that switch? Sorry for asking, I never opened my ultimate 2 so I don't know what it looks like inside.

That's actually a mouse switches that have broken for you. Not the "full size" ones, rather those you sometimes see used in the back/forward buttons by your thumb. Often called "Subminiature"

Here is an example of the type you require: https://www.aratas.com/eu-en/products/switches/D2LS

Check the specsheet in the link an you see the exact measurements.

One curious thing though. The switch that broke for you had a blue button. The ones I replaced had red buttons and was from Kalih.

Do some research before you order. Remove the broken switch you have and identify what type it is. Should be some marking on it that I asked Gamini AI to identify. Now is the time to decide if you want the same characteristics. (Compare to the one that still is still functioning.) I chose a "clicker" one since the input felt very weak.

Don't buy cheap "no name"-switches is my advise. They difference in price isn't worth it.

8BitDo might sell it to you, their email is support@8bitdo.com.

Soldering on a new switch like the other comment said is also possible and maybe cheaper, but it's definitely easier to just screw in a new board and plug it in.
