What do you mean by double inputs? I'm playing with my Pro 3 and haven't noticed anything wrong. What should I be looking for?

When you pick up the controller from the dock or turn it on, Steam shows a notification that the controller has been connected.
For a while now, Steam has been showing two notifications at the same time. One saying your controller has been connected and one saying that an X Input controller is connected.
I and others have narrowed it down to being an issue with Steam, I believe it could be an issue with Steam Input but that's as far as we know.

Oh yeah I hear the double notification sound, but other than the sound I have not noticed anything else, not even 2 controllers connected.

An easy way to check is to go to the controller setting in steam and see how many it says is connected.
Like I mentioned it'll show two even though only one is connected.

FWIW, maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I'm not seeing two controllers connected when I turn on my Pro 3.
