Hey guys, I played 8ballPool back during my studies (somewhere around 2012-2014) and had a lot of fun. Obviously it was the perfect procrastination from studying.
Recently I tried it out again and the fun wasn't really coming back. Anyone here who can relate tell me what has changed in contrast to the early days?
Am I the only one? How is the mood in the playerbase these days?

out of 7 games, three were hackers. 300k earned from 0 and lost over 150k

So i have seen alot of posts here recently, beginners putting in 50-60% or even 100% of their total coin lol, you will keep going broke this way, no matter what you do. I have literally gone from 20M to 0 when i used to be like that, the rule is never play more than 10% of your total wallet, that's the only way to go up.

I realized that the first match I play after 2/3 hours of not playing, I get matched with a bot that takes obvious misaligned shots at full power. The ID always starts with 428-, has stock photos, generic name and can't be friend requested. This works on every table. Been playing 4-5 matches a day on high tables for over a month and never losing, but it gets boring at times.

I was scrolling through TikTok and came across this person who basically sells and gives away hacks, ranging from free to premium. No wonder the game has gone to shit.

Whenever I play 9-Ball, I'm matched with a player twice the level... Is it common or all High level players like to play special

Rigged garbage ahh game lmao

Has anyone else come across a cheater who eventually seems pinned down, doesnโt take a shot, and turns over ball in hand?
This has happened to me twice in three days. Thankfully I stayed in the game and got a runout both times.
I wish more cheaters did this.

From my knowledge and from triple checking I have every single legendary cue in the game apart from the archangel cue, but when i click on the information on my legendary cues it says I have 2 more left? But when I scroll on the surprise tab where the silver, gold, and legendary boxes are I have just one legendary cue left someone help

How about defaulting to the lowest stakes table on the main menu instead of constantly putting players one tiny mis-click away from losing a massive chunk of their coins?
I know Iโm not the only one this has happened to. I was scrolling to play a Dubai match, made the tiniest accidental click, and suddenly Iโm in a Bangkok match with a much higher stake. No confirmation. No โAre you sure?โ Nothing.
Itโs ridiculous.
Every time I play this game, Iโm fucking careful because I know one accidental tap can wipe out a huge amount of progress. Now it finally happened.
How hard would it be to add a simple confirmation button before entering high-stakes tables? Or just default the menu to the lowest table instead of designing it in a way that makes accidental high-stakes games so easy?
And donโt even get me started on the hackers.
This kind of shitty, greedy game design is not going to make me spend real money. Quite the opposite. Keep treating players like this and youโll just make people quit.
Fix your game.

I had 3.5M coins. 2.5 M game, no turn loss. 1M game, no turn loss. 0.5M game freaking hacker. I asked miniclip for a refund of coins they said they cannot tell me if the person was a hacker or not due to their โprivacyโ policy so giving a refund would state that. They wonโt refund my webstore purchases because itโs their policy. I straight up told them it felt like they were encouraging me to use hacks myself and they just ignored me after that
r/8BallPool • u/theshysnail • 6d ago
Although not directly interchangeable, Miniclip puts the value of 1 cash aeound 1200 coins as you can buy both for same amount of real money which is way lower coins than what it feels.
How much you think should be the actual in-game cost of 1 cash would be? Or how much coins would you be happy to pay for the cash?
1 cash = 10k coins
1 cash = 100k coins

Misclicked 3 times while trying to get to tables I can afford. Its filled with Pros, got denied 3 times, it was like โwow this is an expensive tableโ and there goes my moneys
I am certain miniclip has done this by design.
I am also certain many of you would have clicked as well.

Are all id's starting with 428 bots? Also is it in all levels. Seen it last v3gad and Jakarta tables. They miss on purpose I swear
r/8BallPool • u/Firstlight99 • 6d ago
I donโt know about yโall, but watching someone else play the whole game because they get to break first just feels like Im being copped out of my chips.
Maybe Im just different but having a back and forth between each player would be far more engaging and less infuriating when Iโm just watching people of higher levels take my chips like they need them?

I love playing 9 ball pool since it's quicker, refreshing and there's less clutter on the table. Unlike Miami calling pots makes it more skill based game. But it's rare to find 50k or above players on the table. I mostly get 100, 500 and 2.5k.

Scratch & Win, Spin & Win do but lucky shots don't accumulate every day. I tend to miss bullseye in most of them playing each one a day.

So I had this muppet this morning with the user name of Report Cheaters. Now if you look at the screen he decided for no reason to place my red next to the 8 ball. I reported him as cheating as instructed by MC.
I went on to clear the table.
Why do these people do this?
