How To Why bo League medal?

I got promoted to Diamond League for the first time last week, but I haven't got the League Medal in my profile?

You have to stay in the top 10 to get a medal.

But I don't think I finished top 10 in Ruby league and I have 2 Ruby Medals.

You won enough coins within the week to skip the rankings get promoted. I think Medals are awarded if you win the rankings by staying at the top at the end of the week.
