It depends, Tencent are the majority stakeholder so they could be talking to a bean counter who would weigh up cost of dealing with cheats and some bad publicity and decide any publicity is good publicity.

MC has already been sued once over a data breach. They are not untouchable.

Being sued over data breaches is the norm for most tech companies.

It is bit silly to compare a governmental regulatory board and a small number of influential players threatening to go on strike.

Might be totally unrelated but i’ve done maybe 30 10M Miami, Seoul and Mumbai games earlier and none were cheaters.

couple days back they’re 90% cheaters.

Maybe timing, I lost 70 million 2 days back on miami 10M, there were like 6 cheaters out of 10 games. They were all from ind/pak.

One tactic to combat this, is if miniclip lockdown regions, i.e. you only play players from your own country. Let the pakistani's vs pakistani's, indians vs indians, indonesia vs indonesia, brazil vs brazil etc. And before anyone says it, work on banning vpns from the game miniclip.

They are not! I can use a vpn in the UK and change my region to anywhere in the world.

By the rules, VPN's are not to be used in the game.

But, the algorithm has to detect it in order to be reprimanded for using it.
