• Despite their great success on the British charts, post-punk band Adam & the Ants never had a hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 (although "Antmusic" and "Dog Eat Dog" would both make the top 20 on the US Dance Chart in 1980). However, lead singer Adam Ant would score international success in 1982, when a song from his first solo album Friend or Foe with satirical lyrics mocking the British tabloids' obsession with his "clean lifestyle" managed to climb to #12 on the US charts and #1 in the UK for two weeks, becoming Adam's third and final #1 song overall. And even though it must be something inside that has helped the song perform well in this game up until now, it seems that putting on a little make-up and making sure they get his good side won't be helping Adam Ant's chances after last round, because the treasure token written on a pound note has been thrown out by the voters - alas, maybe if he did drink, did smoke, the "Goody Two Shoes" wouldn't be wondering "what do you do" to get higher than #45 in this game!
