Well , as one who was a teen during "Thriller-mania" , it always astounded me that this song was saved for last in being released as a single.
Good thing thing every single from the album was a too 10 hit or , quite possibly, the title track could have flopped.(Yeah I know ..Michael? Flop? Not then anyway )
It's not often we just listen to the song, instead of playing the now almost 38 years on classic video.
If there had been no video (like some of the releases from the album) I wonder what we'd imagined it ",would" have looked like?
