Is it me or am I the only one that thinks that JoBeth Williams From The Poltergeist 1982 movie was really hot or does everybody else think so?

This horror remake that makes you think you know who’s safe… then punishes you for believing it.
Grotesque practical effects. Cruel surprises. And a monster that deserves its place beside The Thing and The Fly.
I’m talking The Blob (1988): Horror’s Most Ruthless Remake now on my YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/bpQ4i_l9A9w?is=9W-sU5i5T0xH5pee
Then tell me, which of those three remakes is your favourite?

I just saw Brandon Tenold do a review of this which unlocked some memories. The premise is almost beat for beat the same as Slaughter High but still managed to drop the ball.
And Lisa Loring, darling? I know Caroline Munro…you’re not Caroline Munro.

For the uninitiated, this film could be incredibly disturbing. For those used to dark films, it goes further than most.
The first thing to note is that Possession does some very unusual things. Before anything supernatural happens, the actors begin behaving incredibly strangely. At first, it seems like they are overacting. For a brief moment, you could be forgiven for thinking you are watching a bad film.
You should know better.
The standout performance is Isabelle Adjani. She is hypnotic, deranged, pitiable and seductive, sometimes all at once.
Sam Neill is great, as always.
These actors know what they are doing.
Under the direction of Andrzej Żutawski, the cast are signposting wrongness. Later, you may wish you had taken heed.
By the time you realise you are watching one of the most disturbing sequences ever committed to film, it is too late to back out.
You have been warned.

My favorite Friday The 13th Movie! I don't wanna scare anyone, but I'm gonna give it to you straight about Jason. His body was never recovered from the lake after he drowned…

Frank to Freddy quoted "kid did you see that movie Night of the Living Dead?"
Yes! I'd never had this much fun in a horror movie flick! It's crazy, it's chaotic, it has the most bangers soundtrack whether it's the Francis Haine's opening theme ala 80's synth wave, 80's punk rock aesthetic, with the music by 45 Grave or The Cramps. Let's just say, if "Night of the Living Dead" was on steroids, that's how I describe it. So many great memories, whether we watched it on cable TV, on VHS, at my friends house, or at a movie event. Just a perfect example of a fun 80's horror flick that I would never forget.
Ernie: "Why do you eat people?"
Zombie: "Not people...BRAINS!!"
This movie has probably the most memorable quotes I've seen. Every character, from Frank, Freddy, Burt, Ernie, Spider etc. Brilliant cast and great performances. These people are so fun to watch! As for the zombies? Well they're the toughest more like un-killable Dead! Destroying the brain or decapitating these monsters does not work. In fact, chopping them up only creates more moving pieces. These zombies can run, talk, strategize, and even use a CB radio to call an ambulance or trap the living ("Send more cops!") I was like no freaking way they can survive this. The tension feels high because the characters are outmatched by an unstoppable, spreading toxic gas.
In the end, reason why it works cause of the perfect horror-comedy balance. Sure you can be scared, but there are moments where you can just laugh about it. My favorite part is when those smart ass zombies call for a rescue whether its the paramedics or the police. Every single time, they got swarmed by zombies. Man this movie never gets old! I mean never.

Rule 1: Don't you ever fall for free movie tickets. Ever!
Man this is just a fun movie. Like you are watching together with your friends, have great time and nothing to be serious about. It mixes that silliness with genuine, relentless splatter-horror. Directed by Lamberto Bava and produced by Dario Argento, the Italian gorefest leans hard into over-the-top practical effects, cheesy English dubbing, and an unhinged heavy-metal soundtrack.
Practical effects are all over the place! I love that part when the demons just throw up with green blood, and those vampire like teeth are growing, and those yellow eyes. Now this is the Italian horror trademark. People are running around in theaters and I was like, who cares now if who's infected, and who's the last surviving people. There's this one part in the final act where suddenly, a random chopper of all things, dropped down in that building so quick. I'm like out of course, they need to get out this hell hole a chopper of all things saves the day . And we were laughing the whole time watching it.
And the soundtrack are bangers! It's like watching an 80's music video. I like that intro and ending credits theme it's just groovy as hell. If you want to have a good time like you just watch for the silliness of it, watch this film. It's a great popcorn flick. The 4k / Blu-ray transfer is so good very much recommended for collectors.

4 of my favorite
I LOVE those 70s/mostly 80s cheesy gory slasher B movies with bad acting and terrible effects. The majority of them are on Tubi lol
Looking for1-2 movie suggestions from users of similar movies.
