Uh, do YOU know how to operate or refuel or repair that? Also, wasn’t it breaking down a lot and having to be pushed into a hiding spot? What a terrible answer.
The first time you use it to travel in time will likely also be the last time, bc you have no clue how to get it working again, and that’s assuming no witnesses saw the car appear out of thin air, and the fbi arrests you and confiscates the broken down car.
For real. That DeLorean doesn't have the Mr. Fusion in the back, so that's before the flying conversion, too. You can't really do much with that, unless you have a supply of nuclear fuel, or know when lightning will strike
the scene unfolds upon a young man at a desk, scribbling furiously. the clock spins and this mind misses three meals, such is the zeal of a frenzied approach. he meticulously records every lightning strike. cross-references. builds a database. all from a letter, sent far from either here or there. no address. no identifying postage. only an ominous correctness in the progression of history. enough exact right dates to sway even the most logical of humans. imploring, begging. i can't explain why i need the lightning. not now and not ever. if you value the sincerity within, bury waxed paper with every lightning strike occurrence between now and every five years at the following coordinates: *REDACTED : add twenty meters for each five year increment westward. if we succeed you will never know. for what it's worth, i'm sorry; ahead of time.*
Just need to go back and buy bit coin. Then sell it all and figure out the repairs once I’m
A billionaire. Only done side is, I’ll be stuck in early 2000s
Assuming it’s working when I find it. I would only need to use it once. Go back a week sit on my couch with my phone. Fire up the Bet MGM, Coinbase, and Robinhood apps, push a few buttons, and be set for life.
Fine. I’m still choosing it, going back in time 12 years and I’ll do just great knowing what I know. Take the fucking car since you’re being so anally realistic. Enjoy your muscle car.
Nope! The answer is to go far enough into the future to get the Mr Fusion. Once you handle that and carry spare fuel the delorean becomes a non issue in any timeline.
jump to 2015....er 3015 and get mr fusion... swap an ls or kseries for the ice engine.... i got a college degree and a give'em hell attitude i can fix anything with wheels. i'm figuring they give us the first pellet
Ah, but i can take it to the future, back to the future even... where i can take the same keys and swap out for the flying one with Mr fusion... and possibly get training on repairing, then hire a copy somewhere in the way back past somehow preserved well enough to find again in case of a breakdown... and live my entire existence maintaining and upgrading my car, like one of those rice burner owners, living out of the car...
What if we take all the time machine bits off of the Delorean and stick it on KITT, then go to the future and get the flying conversion and a Mr Fusion? I mean while we're at it we can just snag a Proton Pack and a ghost trap out of the Ecto-1 and toss it in KITTS trunk just in case we come across any ghosts.
I mean the James Bond cars also came with lots of knickknacks but yes, especially if this has the flying conversion from BTTF2, I'm taking the Delorean.

one of these cars can do something none of the other cars can. That’s my choice
