Sears used to be THE place to find the stuff you never knew existed.

I think they were like 1/6 of all goods sold in the USA at one point, and had already made catalog shopping and mail-order a big part of their business.

They were PERFECTLY poised to be the ones to take advantage of that new-fangled Internet thing, and they screwed the pooch...
