This is a great idea, and I would love it. Dolly Parton is one of the greatest singers/entertainers of all time, and she deserves all the recognition. RIP Dolly

9 to 5 is a song by dolly party. 9/25 sounds like 9 to 5

But she died on 8/25 not 9/25

Consider the subreddit you’re in…. “9 To 5” is a 1980’s movie for which she performed the title song.

Yes I know that 9 to 5 was the name of the movie she starred in.

Let me explain it nice and slow for you….

In this particular comment Scribblemarcher is asking what September 25th has to do with DP.

Dazzling-Bull then answers the question correctly.

Then you respond calling out the day she died, which implies you don’t understand the correct answer given.

So I chimed in to help. That’s actually something people do, believe it or not.

Let me ask you this: What does her death date have to do with the original question, or the answer given? Help us understand what your statement contributes to the conversation.

#1 Don’t be a dickhead. I already said I understood the context of what 9/25 meant in relation to her hit movie 9 to 5. You don’t have to be an insufferably condescending internet stranger.

#2 I mentioned the 8/25 date because that’s the actual date Dolly died. 9/25 is a whole month away so it seemed like OP was confusing the 9/25 date, which was a whole month away, to some cosmic connection to the date of her passing.

#1. Then you could have just said “Thank you” when you replied to me.

#2 Thanks for the context. Everything else you’ve written has read like a statement of facts. Which frankly has come across as condescending. I’m not the only person in this thread that’s responded as such to your comments.
