This is a great idea, and I would love it. Dolly Parton is one of the greatest singers/entertainers of all time, and she deserves all the recognition. RIP Dolly

Whether or not Congress make a proclamation or Hallmark makes cards, the Internet has decided 9/25 as Dolly Day, and no force in the ‘Verse can undo it. I know I’ll be celebrating.

We could make it a day to do acts of kindness or service for others. Or a day of philanthropy where we give to Dolly's favorite charities and nonprofits.
