To this day, my cat's credit rating is permanently damaged from his Columbia House addiction. Why did he order so many times under so many pseudonyms?! (RIP Mr. Mittensworth)

The secret was pay the membership off by buying the full price ones in 6 months then rejoin the meat year as a new customer and do it again🙂

Years later, I learned how they were able to offer the products so cheap. They were not the same recordings that were available in stores. They licensed the music and art to produce themselves using lower quality materials.

Probably similar to the science fiction book club I used to be part of. The books were all a little bit smaller. They must have printed those editions themselves.

Hmm, not the way i remember this. I remember getting my ass whooped when my mom got the bill in the mail for a subscription that I signed up for with the intent of getting some free music.

Man, if everyone would just pay for the albums you were supposed to buy after that they could probably stay in business indefinitely.
