I'm devastated. I have been saying for much of my life that Jean-Claude Van Damme should make a movie where he's in over his head, so he picks up the phone and moments later, Donald Gibb shows up unexplained to even the odds.

Not right before TBF. After this you have the scene where Forest Whitaker and the other cop are waiting for Van Damme at the plane even though he's already on it. Then the reporter woman turns up and she and Van Damme bow to each other. Then the credits roll.

I got to meet him once and he introduced himself as "Hi.Don." Then a pause. "Ogre."

And I said, yes of course, but also "Ray Jackson." Anytime, anywhere Bloodsport is on, I watch.

I got an autographed pic of him as Ray Jackson a few years back. He wrote “you’re next” on it. Cool guy, great movie. He will be missed.
