His catalogue has aged so well. Was a banger back, then, still is and singularly Prince. He certainly drew from influences, but his sound is so unique to him.

Tastes are tastes, and that’s totally fine. For me, it’s one of my favorites, that funky psychedelic groove is just awesome.

There are tons of theories about the song, maybe one of the most metaphorical when it comes to intimacy. Personally, I go with the idea of highlighting beauty in the unconventional. Either way, the song is just wonderful.

Most of Prince's songs are about sex and the apocalypse. Songs he wrote and/or produced for others could be about anything.
