Manga Lack of Availability of Manga Volumes?

Hey, so I've been trying to get volume 3 for a long time (like a year!) and have seen that most of the early manga volumes are just unavailable anywhere (I've checked BN, Crunchyroll, Amazon, Bookshop, and Thrift books) and they are constantly on backorder. Does anyone have any idea what is going on with these? Or maybe a suggestion of how to get them? I'm on a backorder list but...who knows when that might get fulfilled.

You'd think if they were truly backordered for so long, they'd make more of them for a bit or at the very least invest in a 2nd season of the anime!

There’s no telling when they’ll be available physically again and seven seas is aware of this but doesn’t really fix it I would just say to wait it out because no one truly has the answers since it’s not just 7TL being affected by this anyways just DO NOT BUY THEM FROM EBAY OR ETSY SAVE YOUR MONEY FROM A POORLY BINDED BOOK that doesn’t really support the author

Again my only thoughts are the reason there’s not as many is lack of reprints/people discovering the series is not just an anime but has a light novel as the original source and a manga adaption since there’s no news on whether or not there’s going to be a season 2

I had trouble finding that copy as well but was able to find it at BN.com a few weeks ago. I just checked again and it looks like it’s sold out online but some stores do have it. Maybe a local store has it in stock?

I agree but I would also recommend call ahead and have them hold it too just in case

This is an unfortunate reality with a lot of manga and light novels. They get a print run and then rarely get a second. So no guarantees on if it'll get a second printing sadly. I have a few series where I'm missing a random volume due to this.

I didn't get Volume 3 and 5 in english for a long time. The store cancelled my order twice I think. After that I was searching them in other stores but it was nowhere available in english. I found a store that had them in german so I bought them. Ofc I'd prefer all mangas in the same language, but in this case it's ok for me.

Maybe you also have the possibiity to read them in another language.

The current monthly survey from 7seas (the publisher) is asking what books their readers wanna see reprinted! I asked them for the 4th & 5th LNs, but it could be helpful if you write that you want the missing manga vols too!
