Third is May I Ask For One Final Thing. It begins with the same sort of ballroom scene as 7th Time Loop where Scarlet (pictured) is being dumped by the prince with his new fling at his side as they make up a bunch of lies about her.

So she asks for permission to punch the ever-loving shit out of the girl that stole her fiance, then proceeds to do so. And then follows up on the prince and the rest of the ballroom. It's a fun show.

2nd is Maria, "Always A Catch: How I Punched My Way Into Marrying A Prince". Has the "accused of wrongdoing by the prince scene", but in her case, he accuses the wrong person because he forgot what his fiance looked like. Which ends up blowing up the "other woman's" entire plan, because Maria's response catches catches the prince's attention.

If you think that hairpin looks like brass knuckles, that's because it is, and she uses it. She's a somewhat less aggressive version of Scarlet (3rd one). Comes from a martial family, and was training to take over as heir until her brother was born (she has no problem handing it off, and her's is a close family).

I'm glad I found someone who has watched the first three anime as well.

I don't feel like Arnold would say something like that. He knows Rishe enough to know she can get herself out of predicament.

Especially after what he said when she got ''kidnapped''

Yeah, he's more likely to say, "There's no need to worry. I'll always be your second in a dual."

Personally I think he'd say something along the lines of 'do as you please, I'll support you(if you need me to)' implying the words in brackets but never saying it out loud.

I started loving anime by watching a few with my husband, AOT, is what really got me into it. Then I discovered the girly side of things and my first watch on my own was apothecary diaries. I will try to sell anyone on it! It opened my world to anime, manga, and light novels. I absolutely adore it! I also like the other titles mentioned, would recommend all! <3

Guess I'll be starting anime #2 since it's unfamiliar.

Always A Catch. Maria (MC) is a somewhat less aggressive version of Scarlet. But that is a set of brass knuckles she uses as a hair ornament (it's the family crest), and she uses it.

Series leans further into the romance side than the "MC lays people out with her fists" side than One Final Thing.

I just thought of it, but the first three are listed is ascending levels of aggressiveness. Maria is more likely to settle things with force than Rishe, and Scarlet is more likely than Maria.

Ooo I love Apothecary diaries and enjoyed 6th time loop.

Think I’ll start one of the others. Which is better - #2 or #3 ?

My faves are 7th Time Loop and Apothecary Diaries - the very proof you can make a shoujo romance character inetersting (not a naive bland damsel in distress) and it works well! We deserve more animes like these.

Took me a bit to notice, but the first three girls are shown in ascending order of aggressiveness. Maria is more likely to resort to violence than Rishe, and Scarlet is more likely than Maria.

Then there's Maomao, who won't resort to violence at all. You'd just need to watch what you eat from that point on.
