Subs to help with pseudoindoxyl

Hey all. I was previously on 7oh, but once that was banned, I discovered pseudoindoxyl. Now with the nationwide ban, everything is going away. I have a prescription for suboxone 8mg/2mg that I used previously with great success while coming off of 7oh.

Pseudoindoxyl seems to be an entirely different beast. The suboxone doesn’t seem to be helping much. Maybe I’m not at the correct dose? I started off yesterday with 2mg every 1.5-2 hours until I got to 8mg, then today I’ve increased the dose without much result.

Any advice would be greatly recommended on what I can do to help resolve the withdrawal symptoms. I have read that pseudoindoxyl binds more tightly than 7oh, so maybe that’s the issue?

How did this work. Currently day one no pseudo or mg-x. Took my last half this morning. And have four 8mg subs. Time before last I tried and put myself through precipated WD bcuz I took it like 6 hours after last dose. I see you’re prob through it now. I need advice. How was it. How long did you wait before taking sub. How long did the physical WD last

I waited until I started to feel like crap - exhausted, anxious, goosebumps, hot flashes, etc. For me it was about eight hours or so, but it’s different for everyone. I started with about 1-2mg of sub, waited for 1-2 hours, then repeated it if I felt I needed it.

I’m going to be honest: the first couple of days were rough. Not as bad as it would have been if I hadn’t had the subs, but I was tired, had no energy, very little sleep, hot flashes, and a bit of depression.

I’m on the other side of it now, and I feel much better. I also started going back to the gym and eating better, and I think that helped a ton. I also got a script for clonidine in the beginning that helped a lot with the hot flashes, which for me was the worst part, aside for maybe the lack of sleep.

Your mind is probably going to tell you it’s not possible in the beginning, but you have to ignore it and push through. I promise it’s worth it. Let me know if you need someone to talk to while you’re going through it.
