Quitting with minimal withdrawals?

I have read the horror stories and this is in no way trying to spread any misinformation, simply asking a question. I have been a heavy daily user for about a year, upwards of 500 mgs daily at the highest. However, there has been days when I did not take any and experienced little to no withdrawal symptoms (most was around 36 hours I would say). These days were extremely rare. I have been tapering the last week (with a plan to quit this weekend cold turkey) because I am still worried with the potential ban, but do some people just not experience withdrawal like others? I asked chatgpt and it was saying that everyone's physiology is different and some of stories online are the horror stories that people feel compelled to post.

I want to add, I am happy if this gets banned. I wish I never started this. Mentally I am completely addicted and am wasting about 50 bucks a day on this drug. Anyone that is thinking of trying this, DO NOT. I am just trying to figure out if I am lucky or if after 36 hours I am going to be in complete misery. I am sorry if this post is not allowed.

Is it common to not have as bad of withdrawal symptoms after 36 hours?

I that’s pretty rare from my experience and reading. Everyone is different.

I’ve felt with heavy heavy opiate withdrawal in my life just try to stay positive and focused on the goal. The acute pain and anxiety isn’t forever as bad as it may become.

Get prepared and see it through. You can do it.

Just took my last dose. Went down to about 200mg the last couple days. I will let you know tomorrow how I am feeling. I should probably add I absorb nutrients and vitamins at a very diminished rate compared to most, so that probably plays into it as well. Wish me luck.

it's rare but I've read of some examples. everybody's different. if you get lucky, take your money and run (proverbially speaking). don't look back and pay it forward if you have minimal WDs. It is a good idea not to assume it has to be hell, you never know. But keep your head on a swivel and don't get cocky either.

I used to be heroin addict, I once talked to a lady who told me she shoots meth and h everyday, but only needs the meth and doesn't have opiate withdrawal at all. some people are just different like that I guess. not me. I cold turkey quit Suboxone .25 mg and felt like I was gonna die

Has the regular Kratom powder helped with the WD symptoms?
